Torque Electrical was established in March 2005 with an aim to lift standards of the Electrical industry as a whole.

We understand that very often, the building industry can be a messy, untrustworthy and abrupt environment. Some clients are left feeling less than satisfied or in some cases not realising how bad the services they received was.

It has always been Torque’s goal that professional and polite services should be in reach of everyone, rather than a game of chance.

Our purpose was to change this from day one, and so we built our company via strong relationships with our clients based on trust: offering our clients only high quality tailored services at honest costs.

In our 20 years of service, we have invested heavily in the business, from hiring qualified staff, to its infrastructure and training, always having our client’s best interests at the forefront.

We train and develop our staff to become hard working individuals who are happy and proud to work with us and we develop their ambition of a long term career with Torque Electrical.

Our Qualifications

The company was started by Leigh Fortune in March 2005 and became an incorporated business in 2011.

Leigh has several years of Electrical Engineering studies under his belt, completing the below listed qualifications:

  

  • 1st Diploma in Electrical Engineering (2 years)

  • City and guilds 2391 the inspection and testing and verification of electrical installations (1year)

  • City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1,2 and 3 Electrical installation (4years)

  • City and guilds 3784 the inspection and test of portable equipment (1year)

  • Level 4 HPD in Building Services Engineering

     

  • Full IOSH training in risk assessment writing and managing safety safely

  • Full first aider

  • Fully trained in the CDM regulations

     

  • Silver Partner in the Loxone Partner Program

  • Full KNX Trained Partner

  • Worked with the trades and in the trade for 20 years

Our Staff

We have a number of staff and we have a number of Sub contractors and companies we work with to supply services to our clients.

Our staff are polite helpful and conscious about the impact they have on our clients and their homes.

All of our staff are in house trained on all aspects of the construction industry as well as their chosen discipline.

Out staff are health and safety conscious and are absolutely brilliant as watching out and safe guarding anyone working or circulating near the work site.

All of our staff are extremely helpful and trust worthy, their work output is second to none and we are proud to have created/found such a great team of people.
